The Club enjoyed another decisive victory in Match 2 of the Southern Athletics League on Sunday, 12 June, with Team Manager Keith Scofield urging the squad to keep the momentum going into the next match in Oxford on 16 July.

At last, after a hastily re-arranged fourth match in the Surrey Cross Country League (Storm Eunice saw off the intended fixture on Effingham Common), a scaled-down Senior Men’s team finally get their hands on the trophy in the icy winds and muds of Lloyd Park. The U17 Women and U13 Girls also topped their League, and the Senior Women finished an excellent sixth.. The U13 Boys finished in second, the U15 Girls in third and the combined U15 Boys and U17 Men in fourth. Full report to follow

'I was very happy to cross the line first, for the first time in a big race.’
