More than 40 Club athletes were in action in Sunday’s Virgin Money London Marathon and Virgin Money Giving Mini-Marathon. For much of the way, Richard McDowell was the leading Hercules Wimbledon runner in the marathon, reaching the half-way point near Tower Bridge in one hour 13 minutes 15 seconds, 48 seconds ahead of Dimos Evangelidis.
