No Doubting Thomas

At the Southern (SEAA) U13-U17 Indoor Championships at Lee Valley over the weekend (10/11 January) Thomas Whorton (below left) won the gold medal in the U17M 800m to add to his 1500m gold at the SEAA Indoor Middle Distance Championships on 13 December.

Tommaso Crosara (below centre) took the silver medal in the U17M 400m in 51.08, after negotiating three demanding rounds in three hours; while Soraya Stevens (below right, left of picture) won bronze in the triple jump with a PB of 10.53.
 
Naomi Igbintade finished seventh in the final of the U17W 60m, having run her best time of 7.86 (PB) in the semi-final. Max Harrison was sixth in the final of the U15 Boys 800m final, also achieving a PB (2:13.64). Beatrice Eminson was fifth and Holly Townsend sixth in the final of the U17W 800m.
