Wimbledon Perseverance 10km due to be held on Sunday, October 5th has been cancelled
due to lack of entries 26-09-14
start time: 9.30am, WIMBLEDON PARK
Your chance to take part in
54th running of this annual event, staged by Hercules Wimbledon AC,
and one of the oldest such races in England. The course covers two
undulating laps within Wimbledon Park (passing close by the world famous Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club) and
surrounding roads. All abilities are welcome, there are prizes for men and women across the age categories;
plus refreshments available in the Hercules Wimbledon clubhouse.

Men 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Women 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Race day information:
The main entrance is in Wimbledon Park Road. It is approximately 600m from Southfields District Line underground
station. If travelling by British Rail, go to Wimbledon Station which is on a direct line from Waterloo and Clapham
Junction. Here you can take a District Line train two stops to Southfields station. Buses 39 (from Clapham Junction
or Putney) and 493 (from Richmond or Tooting) both stop outside the Park entrance.
By road: Take the A3, which is accessible from central London (Westminster Bridge) and/or Junction 10 off the
M25 and follow signs to Wimbledon which will take you into the vicinity of Wimbledon Park. There is limited parking
within the Park at both the Wimbledon Park Road and Revelstoke Road entrances with parking also available in
